Way to go, Mr. A.

So, if you're an American Idol junkie, or if you're like me and just watch the show because you have nothing better to do on Tuesday/Wednesday nights and are under the false impression that 'reality TV' will ever become less fixed, read on.
David Archuleta. Highly favored among many. Can't say his name without a bunch of screaming teenagers. [And why this is, I will never know. He has a good voice, but augh.]
Now, news is swirling that his father has been banned from rehearsals.
Why?
Because he was 'helping' David pick songs. And worse, he got him to change some of the lyrics to one certain song. Badness? Yes, because now American Idol has to pay the writer of that song for changing the lyrics, and clearly no one's happy about it.
So daddy Archuleta's been banned [smooth move, Mr. A], the kid is definitely not a hip-hop artist [as highlighted by last night's show, when he sang Chris Brown's 'With You'] and he definitely, definitely cannot dance.
Though I'm not one to speak since I'm about as coordinated as a balloon in a tornado.
Not to mention the fact that Syesha Mercado and David Cook completely and fully [in my opinion and that of my families] out sang him this week. I still want David [Cook] to win. The fact that the judges didn't like Syesha's rendition of 'Fever' had my mom in a tizzy all night.
I shall be interested to see who is voted off on tonight's episode.
Like I said, I have nothing better to do.
