Feel the Wrath of Meg

I hate people.
Really. It's mind-boggling how much dislike one can really feel for the human race.
So, whether you're into horse racing or not, many of you have probably heard of Big Brown. He was such the favorite in the Kentucky Derby, and the Preakness, then went on to win both races. Now, he has a cut in his hoof. And they're still going to let him race because he has a chance at the triple crown.
A chance. There are no guarantees. There's another chance, however, that he could wind up dying because these insensitive, greedy idiots are going to let their horse race.
Is the triple crown really, really worth the major possibility of killing your horse?
Because that's what they'll be doing.
Try Eight Belles, the Filly horse that ran the Kentucky Derby this year. She tripped and broke both front legs and had to be put down because she couldn't support herself. And why? Oh, more than likely because they give horses steroids to build up the muscle. Well guess what, braniacs? It doesn't build everything. When you're making a normally smaller horse that big, their legs just can't handle it.
Slowly but surely, they killed her.
I'll say it again, not for the first nor second time.
I.

Hate.
People.

Yeah, you're right, that is animal abuse - how do they even get away with that crap??

Celebrities get out of punishment just because they're famouos.
The Government does whatever the hell they want because people don't stand up to them.
Evidently animal cruelty in the form of horse racing has been overlooked as well.

I agree with you guys... Believe it or not, the horse that they killed was the one I picked and it seriously broke my heart. The fact that they just killed it even though they were the ones to probably provoke the horse breaking her legs was crazy.

There's the crazy world for ya.

I know, I would have liked for her to win too. D:
But really, they didn't have a choice but to put her down at that point. With both legs broken, she wouldn't even been able to stand. :\
