I have not [officially] dropped off the face of the earth...

Yet.
No, I have not abandoned my poor blog, of course not.
I've simply been busy and slightly out of it for a while.
Sorry, don't eat me. I have returned from my grave.
And so on and so forth.
What? I was loaded with library books to read.
That brings me to one point.
The Door Within Trilogy by Wayne Thomas Batson is absolutely brilliant.
Read the first two, and am currently waiting for the third to be picked up from the library, read by my sister, and then passed to me for final inspection.
I am shaking with excitement, really I am.
My other sister has finally started in on Twilight.
Saw a preview for the movie on www.myspace.com/trailerpark last night. Looks pretty decent.
And I say that because trailers so often make movies seem good, yet they actually suck.
And vice versa.
So since the Twilight trailer wasn't the most brilliant thing on the planet, and keeping in mind that they aren't yet fully finished with the film in the first place, I think it might actually turn out alright.
Whoop.
Other books to check out:
I Am The Wallpaper - Mark Peter Hughes
Fat Kid Rules The World - K.L. Going
The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness Series - Michelle Paver

On to the next thing.
Oh, I got a cell phone.
Be jealous, those of you without one, be jealous.
Yuh.
Red [which is actually a brown/red/burgundy/purple looking color, for lack of a better explanation] Motorola i880. Pretty snazzy.
It's a camera phone. With Bluetooth. And Nextel Direct Connect. Music player.
It's rad. Totally rad. Yep.
So yeah. There's that.

Ummm.

I may possibly be away for another two weeks in June.
As I wrote a few posts back, I did get accepted to that student journalism summer program, and since it is a little on the far side, we may be staying over there.
Well, my mom and I. Rather than driving back and forth every single day for two weeks.
Not including weekends.
Ooh.
I get weekends off.
I'm not sure if you'd categorize that as work or school, but probably a mix of both.
Ah well.
In any case, that's the reason for the phone.
So I don't care how we get there.

What else to say....
I'm not sure that I mentioned that I got new shoes, Bullet For My Valentine's The Poison CD, a notebook and more wite-out last week.
If I did, well boo, I just said it again.
And my sister got Three Days Grace's self-titled disc.
So I have those songs too.
And I can't think of any more updates.
Doesn't matter.
I have wite-out.

Sweeeeeet xD

Thanks ^_^
I was almost afraid they weren't going to have my size.
I'd been looking at the stupid things since the store opened, and finally got 'em. It was like 'size 9...size 8...size 7...WHY DO THIS TO ME?!'
Then I finally found a 6. x]

Hey, ever listen to Thrice?

*~Manda~* said...

Thrice? No, I haven't ... are they good?

Meg said...

*ahem*
I am a little bit offended.
Would I have suggested them if they weren't good? xD
http://www.purevolume.com/thrice
Try it. That's their page on PureVolume.
Image of the Invisible and Music Box are my favorites.

They're OK x]. I'm not really into the harder types of rock ... "soft rock," yeah, but not like ... pounding in my ears XDD. No offense =/.

None taken xD
To each her own. Just thought I'd mention 'em.
-Shrugs- I like Marilyn Manson, and he tends to scare the hell out of most people. x]

I've never listened to him, but yes he is rather creepy o.0. I mean, dude goes beyond the realm of the teenage posers ... he's like the spawn of satan. XD

You get used to him. x]
