....Well.
Care to forgive me for abandoning ze blog yet again?
Sorry. The boyfriend's a little bit addicting.
Oh. Yeah. Topic and excuse #1: The Boyfriend.
Be shocked. Be really, really shocked. I'll join you.
Should probably start from the beginning. And shorten it a lot.
Some of you know, some of you know of, and some of you have no idea about my friend Drew. Met him roughly two and a half years ago [FLVS, whoo]. We were friends, we stopped talking for nine months, started talking again Summer of '07. Were friends for a few months, I got unnecessarily annoyed with him, and we stopped talking again. The problem; Missed him terribly but had that stupid Meg-like/Guy-like ego and refused to talk to him.
But I did. Of course I did. I'm glad I did.
Sent off an email at 1 in the morning last month. March 13th.
Actually, what I did was type a whole email of what I was going to say, then put my email address and his in wordpad. Both posted a few times in different parts of the document. Then closed my eyes, copied one, and sent it. And naturally, it was his. The other option would have been sending it to myself.
Anyhow. We started talking again, and he was once again one of my best friends in under a week. And then, as usual, we entirely fell for each other. Again.
And that's pretty much where it stands as of now. He's going to Kentucky the first week in May [for a week] and we're working out a plan to meet up before that....Work in progress, but at least we're making progress.
With the tile-laying still happening at my house, my laptop has taken up residence in my bedroom. Much to my happiness, because I've been up until about 1 a.m. [sometimes earlier, sometimes later] every single night talking to him. Except this weekend - he's at the beach - and last weekend - boyscouts. Dead serious. Sooooo. I'm pretty much ungodly happy.
And I've babbled on about this for too long.
In other news;
Easter's tomorrow. Don't think we're doing anything. But Rachel and my parents went shopping today and came home with a freakish amount of candy. The result of us never having it, and now having an excuse for it. I'm not going to begin to list it, so here's the picture I just HAD to take;

So that's the majority of our Easter celebration, it seems. And with the risk of offending each and every one of you, I really must relay the joke these awesomely amazing radio DJs had going on last night. If Jesus rose from the dead and came back alive - which is, apparently, what we celebrate on Easter - then that more or less makes him a zombie. So the majority of the world worships a zombie. Pretty snazzy, no?
Forgive me. They crack me up.
What else....what else...Hmm. I'm making a collage. Some of my own photography that I actually like. And another one for language arts. AND I'm going to take the driver's ed course on FLVS. Mommy just has to approve the request. So that'll be a little while. Regardless.
Ooh. Because I must mention this; Everyone pretty much knows that my parents don't want my sisters or myself to get our license at 16, right? Right. Well mom asked if Drew had his permit, and I said yes. And she asked what he thought about our thing. I told her that he thought it was stupid seeing how I'll have to wait a year to get the license if I don't even have the permit. So she said I could sign up for the class.
Me and him are thinking we'll have to get him to mention MySpace/Facebook and maybe I can get that too. It's working out nicely. Randomly, but nicely.
Really not too much else going on here...Two more months of Poynter. -cry- This month, the 21st. Next month is graduation.
Concert on the 22nd....50 Cent got added to the bill. My sisters, me and my mom were not pleased with this. We figured it would give us time to walk around, get a drink/something to eat, though, so we got over it. When we mentioned it to Dad, his reaction was "REALLY? That's awesome! He's great."
And you people wonder where I come from.
